Malcolm Cheape
Malcolm Cheape graduated form Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee in 1987 and he has worked widely as a full-time artist in Scotland and London ever since. His subject matter is drawn almost exclusively from the sea and his work heavily supported by research. His distinctive style combines paint, ink, pencil marks, paper and tape to create detailed, multi-layered pieces that are held in many private and public collections at home and overseas.
